Our breakfast delights guests with carefully selected, handcrafted treats. We believe in quality over quantity — it’s not about endless variety, but about freshness and exceptional ingredients.
From crusty bread and Ticino cheeses to alpine butter, farm-fresh yogurt, and locally made salametti, every bite brings the authentic flavors of the region to your plate. We care deeply about seasonality and sourcing close to home, which is why we choose local suppliers whenever possible — true to the “kilometre zero” philosophy.
Espresso, the way it’s meant to be
At B5, coffee is a conscious choice. No capsules, no plastic, no shortcuts — just real craftsmanship, pulled on a classic Faema E61.
Our beans come from Fabio at Caffè Antico, roasted in small batches over hardwood in Intragna, right in the heart of Ticino. Fair, local, and made with genuine care.
You won’t find pod machines in our rooms. Instead, we invite you down to our Salotto — for coffee done right.

Breakfast at B5 is served and celebrated in the Salotto. The focus is on quality over quantity, with handpicked, fresh products that capture the authentic spirit of Ticino. B5 consistently follows the «Kilometre 0» philosophy, sourcing its products preferably from local suppliers.
The table features, among other things, fresh bread, Ticino cheese, alpine butter, farm yoghurt, Salametti from the butcher and further carefully selected, artisan treats. The selection changes according to the season and the availability of regional products.
Coffee at B5 is a conscious choice: no capsules, no plastic, no compromises. The beans come from Fabio and his Caffè Antico in Intragna, in the heart of Ticino — roasted in small batches over charcoal, fair and local. Everything is prepared on a Faema E61.
No. B5 deliberately foregoes coffee machines and capsules in the rooms. Instead, the hotel invites all guests to come down to the Salotto for coffee the way it should be.
