B5 is located at Via Francesco Borromini 5, CH-6900 Lugano, just a few minutes' walk from the main train station. Restaurants, cafés, boutiques and sights are all within close reach. Public parking spaces are available nearby for guests arriving by car.
Check-in is handled conveniently and digitally – in advance online, quickly and without any hassle. The digital key card is loaded directly onto your smartphone, allowing seamless access to your room. The entire stay can be managed independently and at your own pace. The Giardino is the hotel's hidden terrace, tucked away at the rear of the building and designed by French landscape architect Thierry Dalcan. It invites guests to have breakfast, work or simply relax under the open sky. Sun loungers and an outdoor shower provide a refreshing retreat, and towels are available on request.
The breakfast is served in the Salotto and focuses on handpicked, regional Ticino products following the «Kilometre 0» philosophy. The coffee comes from Fabio and his Caffè Antico in Intragna and is prepared on a Faema E61. There are deliberately no coffee machines in the rooms — instead, the hotel invites guests to come down to the Salotto for coffee crafted with true skill.
Yes. The B5 bar is available for get-togethers, apéros and celebratory occasions. The team takes care of drinks, atmosphere and the right setting for every event.
B5 is an adults-only hotel and welcomes guests aged 14 and above. Unfortunately, pets cannot be accommodated. It is equally well suited to leisure travellers, business guests and anyone who wants to discover Lugano in their own way.
